Within the project “TANGRAM – Transnational pArks aNd Gardens Resources in Adriatic and ionian tourist Marketplace”, in which the Argonauta association is a partner, the first in-person meeting of the stakeholders involved in implementing the project was held. The project team meeting took place in Nova Gorica, Slovenia, from 29 to 30 September. It was organised by the Regional Development Agency of Northern Primorska and attended by representatives of agencies, organisations and local governments from Italy, Serbia, Greece, Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The main topic of the meeting was the progress of the project – the activities carried out so far were analysed, examples of good practice were presented and the next period of implementation was planned. Particular attention was paid to planning workshops in the partners' local communities, to be held by the end of 2021. The Argonauta association, together with external associates, the organisations Finprojekt and Symbol, will hold workshops in October and November, with the main focus on planning a local sustainable development strategy that takes into account all the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats facing the community; they will bring together representatives of the private and public sectors, civil society organisations and individuals, and representatives of educational institutions.
