The Little Drama School was launched in October 2015 as part of the project “Archaeological Treasure of Colentum IV”.

The theatre is so endlessly fascinating because it's so accidental. It's so much like life.

The Little Drama School was launched in October 2015 as part of the project “Archaeological Treasure of Colentum IV”, implemented by the Argonauta association and financed by the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds. In the drama school workshops, pupils will learn the basics of acting and stage performance by rehearsing the play “The Little Caulker” from the previous project of the same name, which will be used as an educational tool for training new amateur actors in Murter. The school is led by Sergej Mioč and Vedranko Šikić-Balara, and it is attended by around 30 pupils. The play “Quintus's Treasure” is currently in preparation. Unlike the previous play, all the actors will be pupils, because one of the aims of this project is to “rejuvenate” amateur drama in Murter. In the play “Quintus's Treasure”, a “treasure map” will be used as a prop, linked to a real tourist map with the working title “Discover the secrets of Colentum”. This map will be designed, printed and distributed at the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Murter-Kornati and in tourist agencies.

The Little Drama School will run from October 2015 to April 2016. All interested pupils can sign up at the school library or at mail@argonauta.hr, mobile 091 403 3033.
