{"id":236,"date":"2026-10-06T09:10:29","date_gmt":"2026-10-06T09:10:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/colentum.info\/?page_id=236"},"modified":"2026-10-06T09:52:27","modified_gmt":"2026-10-06T09:52:27","slug":"island-extravaganza","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/colentum.info\/en\/projekti\/island-extravaganza\/","title":{"rendered":"Island Extravaganza"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-columns projekt is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:60%\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The idea for this project grew out of our Argonauta association's rich experience in running volunteer programmes, as well as a continuation of our successful promotion of knowledge and awareness of the values of cultural and archaeological heritage as a shared European value and its potential for the sustainable development of rural communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Objectives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aim of the ISLAND EXTRAVAGANZA 2022 project is to continue raising public awareness of and interest in the need to preserve and valorise local cultural resources: the Colentum archaeological site, the natural site of Radu\u010d hill and the Gradina peninsula. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another important part of this project will be adapting volunteer work to the needs of the local community and connecting local and international young volunteers so that they can learn from each other about the various benefits and opportunities of volunteering and the European Solidarity Corps programme. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They will broaden their knowledge, above all of the archaeological heritage we share in Europe, the sustainable development of cultural and natural sites, community development and local culture, in that they will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>learn to appreciate and respect the heritage we have and share in Europe and beyond, \u2013 enrich their intercultural experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have the opportunity to live and work with a group of young people from different social, economic, political, cultural or religious backgrounds on a topic of common interest.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have the opportunity to experience a new national culture (Croatian) and a new local culture (Murter) and embrace values such as social inclusion, equal opportunities, active citizenship, solidarity and tolerance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>improve their skills and competences for personal, educational, social, civic, cultural and professional development, resulting in and contributing to greater self-esteem and self-confidence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column projekt__kartica is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:40%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table projekt-podaci\"><table><tbody><tr><th>Beneficiaries:<\/th><td>The target group of the project is 15 ESC volunteers from all over Europe<\/td><\/tr><tr><th>Donors<\/th><td>European Solidarity Corps and the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes<\/td><\/tr><tr><th>Value<\/th><td>EUR 19,000.00<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The aim of the ISLAND EXTRAVAGANZA 2022 project is to continue raising public awareness of and interest in the need to preserve and valorise local cultural resources: the Colentum archaeological site, the natural site of Radu\u010d hill and the Gradina peninsula.<\/p>","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":205,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-236","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/colentum.info\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/236","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/colentum.info\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/colentum.info\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/colentum.info\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/colentum.info\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=236"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/colentum.info\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/236\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":240,"href":"https:\/\/colentum.info\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/236\/revisions\/240"}],"up":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/colentum.info\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/205"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/colentum.info\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=236"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
