The cultural and natural links between its two shores are widely recognised today, although the general public and mass tourists, who consume tourist resources at a frantic pace, still do not sufficiently appreciate them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tourism can enhance and preserve the tangible and intangible cultural heritage on which it is based, but if it is not managed and controlled, it can also degrade and irreversibly damage this valuable heritage.
